Vacation Bible School is Underway!

We are at day 2 of Vacation Bible School. Everyone is having a great time! The kids have made Bible memory books and compass necklaces in crafts class and also a boat that we are going to race in a rain gutter regatta later in the week.

We are all learning new songs, and are looking forward to performing them for the parents an grandparents, and anyone else who happens to be here on Thursday night for our Celebration Program.

Yesterday when the sun was shining, there were lots of water games that we played in the field. Today because of the rain, we were inside, but that does not mean we didn't have fun. Have you ever seen a ball that is 30 inches in diameter? We have one and we played crab soccer with it. SO MUCH FUN!

The Bible stories are being told by the teachers, and even a puppet or two. You can see what stories we are learning in our newsletters.

The children are really enjoying their time with us and we enjoy having them here.

We're Counting Down

In two weeks our VBS program begins. There are still open spots. Download the registration form and get it in to the church office. This is going to be a great week. You DON'T wan to miss it!

Classes Are Filling Up!

The classes are filling up. We can add more classes, but we need to know in advance how many classes we need. You don't want to miss out on the fun, so get your registration in TODAY!

Spots Still Available

We are still taking registrations for grades 1 thru 8. (This is determined by the grade the child is entering in September '09.)

There is also a women's class that is being offered during the morning session of VBS. It is open to all women whether they have a child in the VBS program or not.

Vacation Bible School for 2009 is over. We had a great time!

As SonRock Campers, the children learned how their lives can be transformed by God's great love for them as stated in 1 John 3:1. "How great is the love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God."

SonRock Kids Camp is an adventure like no other! Campers built bonds of friendship with each other and with caring counselors as they discovered that their true identities are not formed by where they go, what they do, or what others think of them. Like Peter the Apostle, they explored who they are in Jesus Christ - the most important relationship of all. Because of His love for us, He is the rock upon which we can build our lives!
